About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead complex client engagements across broad-based compensation and workforce rewards, job architecture, job evaluation, career frameworks, and pay structures
  • Advise clients on designing and implementing job architectures and job leveling frameworks, including jobs, levels, career paths, skills, and compensation structures
  • Translate job architecture and rewards strategies into technology-enabled solutions considering HRIS, compensation, talent, and workforce technology platforms
  • Advise on data, process, governance, and technology requirements for implementing and sustaining job architecture and rewards programs
  • Advance AI, digital tools, and technology-enabled approaches in compensation and workforce rewards solutions
  • Develop and monitor budgets and deadlines, oversee staff, delegate tasks, and peer review client work
  • Build client relationships by leading meetings, providing strategic guidance, resolving issues, and overseeing high-quality delivery
  • Generate revenue through new client acquisition, cross-selling, and expansion of existing engagements
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across markets and regions using Marsh’s intellectual capital
  • Advise senior management and HR leaders on pay competitiveness, compensation strategy, job architecture, career frameworks, and rewards governance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in broad-based compensation and workforce rewards consulting, with deep knowledge of compensation strategy, market pricing, pay structures, and program design
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing job architecture, job leveling, and/or job evaluation frameworks within complex organizations
  • Strong understanding of how job architecture connects to compensation, career frameworks, talent processes, organizational structures, and HR technology
  • Experience working with HR and rewards technology, including understanding the data and process implications of implementing job architecture and compensation programs
  • Strong client management skills, including leading senior-level client meetings, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and resolving complex issues
  • Recognized expertise in broad-based workforce rewards and job architecture consulting
  • Experience helping large, complex organizations design and implement enterprise-wide job architectures and career frameworks
  • Experience connecting rewards and job architecture strategy to HR technology transformation and implementation, including major HRIS/HCM and compensation platforms
  • Strong understanding of emerging AI and technology-enabled approaches to compensation, job architecture, skills, and workforce management
  • Track record of generating revenue through new client acquisition and expanding existing client relationships
  • Broad knowledge of rewards governance, pay equity, regulatory considerations, and performance management
  • Ability to work in the office or onsite with clients at least three days per week
