About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to provide tailored client service
  • Provide timely and accurate client advice across alternative risk transfer and insurance products
  • Achieve growth targets and retain and grow a portfolio of local government clients
  • Plan and implement effective renewal strategies to support account retention and defence
  • Build presence across Victoria by understanding regional nuances and sector-specific challenges
  • Visit metropolitan and regional councils throughout Victoria
  • Develop expertise in Discretionary Trusts, Mutuals, and bespoke general insurance products
  • Deliver innovative risk transfer solutions protecting critical public assets and services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in client portfolio management in insurance broking and/or general insurance
  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (or higher)
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and demonstrate excellent time management
  • Ability to maintain high service standards
  • Previous experience in alternative risk transfer options, including Discretionary Trusts and Mutuals, is desirable
  • Appropriate approval to work in Australia
  • Successful applicants must complete a Criminal & Bankruptcy check before commencing employment
