About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Regional Director and Producer by carrying out MMA-NE Service and Operational standards
  • Exceed retention goals and prevent E&O exposure
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and the insurance marketplace
  • Interact with accounting, marketing, claims, loss control, and management in the servicing function
  • Establish renewal strategy with Producer, Service, and Placement teams
  • Expand services through upselling and cross-selling at each renewal
  • Secure client exposure information and identify coverage deficiencies
  • Conduct client contract reviews and review audits and endorsements
  • Prepare, maintain, and execute service calendars with clients, service team, and producer
  • Assist with pre-renewal/stewardship activities, renewal proposal presentations, claims reviews, and loss control meetings
  • Address and resolve client issues
  • Retain accounts proactively and work independently within the Equine Farm & Ranch team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of insurance industry experience
  • At least 2 years of direct Equine Farm & Ranch experience
  • Effective oral and written communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to conduct presentations and speak to internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with agency management systems and web browser software
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Ability to work independently
  • High degree of expertise in the Equine Farm & Ranch industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Business Management, Finance, or another relevant program is a plus but not required
  • Experience with Applied Epic is a plus but not required
