About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze Medicaid pharmacy data to support pharmacy efficiencies and rate development
- Present analysis to team members, explaining models, analysis steps, and findings
- Adjust analyses based on feedback
- Use AI and technology-enabled tools
- Work with client and team project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Help develop project documents, including budgets and work plans
- Communicate with clients and project teams about project status and expectations
- Provide expertise and insight to help resolve potential issues
- Manage project scope, budget, and timelines
- Partner with state governments to analyze financial and pharmacy data related to Medicaid, managed care, and fee-for-service delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of healthcare financial analysis or pharmacy analysis experience
- Experience including financial modeling or rate development
- Ability to work on team projects and initiatives in a dynamic environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced MS Excel analytical skills
- Medicaid program experience preferred
- SAS software experience, including data management, advanced analytics, and modeling, preferred
- PBM experience or knowledge and experience using drug compendia such as Medi-Span or First Databank preferred
