About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage complex client engagements, including service delivery, wellbeing strategy, program assessment and inventory, benchmarking, and market landscape reviews
  • Analyze vendor and carrier experience and reporting data to identify opportunities and shape recommendations
  • Develop 1–3 year strategic wellbeing and clinical roadmaps with prioritized initiatives and implementation considerations
  • Lead or support vendor RFPs and procurement for wellbeing and point solutions
  • Provide ongoing consultative support, specialist guidance, and issue resolution
  • Communicate Mercer’s perspective on wellbeing and health management trends and translate them into actionable client strategies
  • Serve as a day-to-day client lead and trusted advisor
  • Ensure project scope, budget, timeliness, and quality
  • Contribute to account growth and new business opportunities
  • Use AI and technology-enabled tools in the practice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree required; advanced degree and backgrounds in psychology, social work, public health, or related fields preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing solutions in health benefits or wellbeing
  • Strong client-facing consulting experience
  • Experience leading meetings and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Experience using data and insights, including utilization, performance, and outcomes, to inform strategy and recommendations
  • Experience leading wellbeing strategy work preferred
  • Experience supporting wellbeing and point-solution RFPs and vendor evaluations preferred
  • Strong sales and marketing skills preferred
  • Strong analytical and communication skills preferred
  • Ability to simplify complex findings into clear, executive-ready guidance preferred
