About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Extract usable data from various raw files and reports to populate internal data sets.
- Create complex analytic reports from internal data sets for McGriff’s service teams for the benefit of clients and prospects.
- Identify emerging trends and analytic opportunities within large data sets.
- Serve as subject matter expert for questions related to all analytic resources, procedures and explanation of reports.
- Actively work to maintain the internal databases through data import and quality assurance.
- Assist in the identification, creation and marketing of analytic reports including creating comprehensive displays for client facing slide decks.
- Build and maintain relationships with team members and business units.
- Support company projects and initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Insurance; or equivalent education and related training
- Three years of working experience in Property and Casualty insurance
- Must have a Property and Casualty insurance license
- One year of reporting experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) and aptitude to quickly learn and utilize multiple applications.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel required.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job on an independent basis
- Strong organization and time management skills, including ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
