About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Undertaking valuations for various purposes, both within a team and individually
- Maintaining valuation data and undertaking research to support development of approaches and valuation outputs
- Developing internal and external stakeholder relationships, expanding renewal client portfolios and developing new business
- Performing ad hoc tasks and initiatives which support the valuations team, and greater Marsh
- The ability to travel locally, nationally & internationally for key client commitments
- Support on complex valuation of Plant & Equipment
- Ability to ensure client deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and work experience of multiple data bases used for valuation internationally
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years valuation experience
- Experience in Plant & Machinery and Real Estate valuation an advantage
- Valuation for insurance, market value, fair value and other popular requirements
- Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable and experienced working with technology (solutions)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong numerical skills
- Excellent organization skills – able to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills – able to work within a team
- Networking skills
- Strong problem solving capabilities
- Willingness to study and qualify with the required professional valuation bodies
