About the role
- Job shadow, attend prospect meetings and client visits, and network with carriers
- Participate in mock proposal meetings and learn marketing campaigns
- Receive mentoring and attend in-person and virtual learning sessions with interactive, hands-on experiences
- Showcase learning with a final mock client presentation project
- Gain exposure to live projects and a comprehensive overview of the insurance industry
- Work side-by-side with colleagues and experience personal and professional growth opportunities
Requirements
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management & Insurance, preferred but not required
- Positive attitude that embraces teamwork and learning
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form, with and across, varying levels within the organization
- Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a highly matrixed organization
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Self-starter with demonstrated tenacity and resourcefulness
- Strong computer proficiency including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Analytical thinker and problem solver
- Desire to lead projects while having fun
- Demonstrated leadership skills or initiative within school, work, and/or community

- Applicants must be within driving distance to one of the participating office locations and be able to commute to the office daily
