About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage expatriate medical, dental, life, and disability plans
Review client needs, recommend suitable approaches, and implement expat benefit program strategies
Manage client activities and direct work to team members according to roles/responsibilities
Build effective relationships, internally and externally
Review and analyze renewals and competitive marketing exercises
Ensure fair and sustainable expat program renewals
Coordinate Requests for Proposal on behalf of a client
Present marketing results and annual renewals to clients
Handle day-to-day client contact/management to resolve project-related questions and challenges
Guide junior staff members in client interactions
Maintain awareness of the expat insurance vendor marketplace and evolving global compliance landscape
Review external vendor contracts to ensure alignment with client expectations and requirements
Delegate, guide, and coach junior staff and peer review their work

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5+ years of work experience, with employee health benefits programs (US or global)
2+ years of experience with expatriate benefits programs carrier/consulting/client and/or working with multinational employers
Ability to confidently engage with clients in formal and ad-hoc situations
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesize information and draw conclusions
Proficiency using Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong business acumen
