About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage expatriate medical, dental, life, and disability plans
  • Review client needs, recommend suitable approaches, and implement expat benefit program strategies
  • Manage client activities and direct work to team members according to roles/responsibilities
  • Build effective relationships, internally and externally
  • Review and analyze renewals and competitive marketing exercises
  • Ensure fair and sustainable expat program renewals
  • Coordinate Requests for Proposal on behalf of a client
  • Present marketing results and annual renewals to clients
  • Handle day-to-day client contact/management to resolve project-related questions and challenges
  • Guide junior staff members in client interactions
  • Maintain awareness of the expat insurance vendor marketplace and evolving global compliance landscape
  • Review external vendor contracts to ensure alignment with client expectations and requirements
  • Delegate, guide, and coach junior staff and peer review their work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience, with employee health benefits programs (US or global)
  • 2+ years of experience with expatriate benefits programs carrier/consulting/client and/or working with multinational employers
  • Ability to confidently engage with clients in formal and ad-hoc situations
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesize information and draw conclusions
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong business acumen
