About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Servicing existing clients and assisting in producing new client relationships
Quickly developing and managing a portfolio of client relationships
Working closely with the Surety broking team to manage reinsurance placements from start to finish
Leading client calls and meetings to discuss reinsurance program, renewals, modeling, and benchmarking
Training new staff, monitoring workflow, and assisting in process improvements
Developing rapport with clients to be viewed as a trusted advisor
Liaising with legal, actuarial, accounting, and claims departments to service client needs
Actively collaborating with broking teams across the organization to develop Surety opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years’ experience in primary or reinsurance underwriting and/or reinsurance broking
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting
Advanced MS Office skills, specifically a strong proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel
Strong critical thinking skills in finance, economics and/or statistics
