About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support producers and account teams by owning the marketing and placement workflow for environmental/pollution liability business insurance submissions.
Analyze submissions, recommend market strategies, negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers, prepare proposals, and bind coverage as appropriate.
Provide technical environmental insurance expertise, maintain carrier relationships, and ensure placements meet agency quality and service standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, math, and/or risk management/insurance is preferred.
P&C Insurance License and/or surplus lines license.
Minimum 3 years’ experience within the environmental insurance space (brokerage, underwriting, consulting, loss control, or claims) with demonstrable experience handling environmental/pollution placements.
Proven track record of managing book(s) of business or a steady flow of environmental submissions.
