Key responsibilities & impact
  • As an Account Executive focused on the Real Estate niche, you are a leader in the industry and client niches, with a deep understanding of business risks and financial implications.
  • You will take charge of service execution, build a client base, and utilize sales methodologies and resources to effectively manage and expand your clients.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years previous insurance brokerage experience including experience managing a substantial real estate-focused book of business, including large accounts, primarily covering hotels, commercial office spaces, subsidized housing, and market-rate apartments
  • Demonstrates expertise in complex insurance structures, including shared and layered property towers, excess liability towers, and allocated billing processes
  • Collaborates effectively with a team of Account Managers to share insurance expertise and support client needs in CAT-exposed areas such as coastal lines, convective storms, and tornado-prone regions
  • Utilizes detailed risk expertise to perform critical client functions, including evaluating risks; reviewing loss experience, cash flow and financials; developing solutions; articulating impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics, marketing and negotiating coverage, and making recommendations to client across product lines
  • Establishes and monitors growth and retention strategies, cultivates and expands client relationships, provides creative solutions, resolves client issues, and accepts ultimate responsibility for results with consistent integrity.
  • These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply: Property & Casualty license preferred, or the ability to obtain upon hire
  • BS/BA in Business, Insurance or related field
  • CIC, ARM, CRM, CPCU, CRIS or RPLU or other professional insurance designation related to Property & Casualty
  • Experience working with Applied Epic, agency management system
  • Available to travel to both local and long-distance client meetings as needed
