About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather current coverage information from prospects and evaluate and analyze data and prepare comprehensive risk evaluations to include product and service requirements.
- Review and interpret carrier contract language to deliver optimal client coverage recommendations while ensuring regulatory requirements are met and internal policies procedures are followed.
- Work with Business Development Executives (BDEs) and Client Advisors (CAs) as appropriate to grow and expand referral sources.
- Negotiate with primarily multiple HNW insurance carriers to provide comprehensive coverage options outlined in proposals, while conforming to laws, regulations and requirements governing the insurance industry.
- Generate referrals from your COIs.
- Be responsible for meeting new business development goals and forecasting.
- Incorporate and regularly practice techniques introduced through Sales Training to continuously enhance skills and related performance.
- Use Salesforce to complete funnel and other internal information tracking reports as required.
- Use the EPIC Agency Management System in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all account information.
- Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and there is compliance with all internal policies and procedures.
- Review and interpret carrier contract language to deliver optimal client coverage recommendations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 years of directly related business development/client service experience.
- Successful Sales and Risk Consultant experience with high-net-worth clients essential
- P&C licensed and HNW personal lines insurance experience necessary
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
