About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, review, and maintain technical manuals, job cards, and maintenance documentation to ensure accuracy, usability, and regulatory compliance
- Translate OEM data, engineering inputs, and maintenance requirements into clear, actionable instructions for frontline execution
- Ensure all technical publications align with FAA regulations (Part 121/135/145) and internal quality standards
- Apply strong critical thinking to identify gaps in documentation, processes, and execution—driving practical solutions that improve safety, quality, and efficiency
- Flex across multiple functional areas based on business needs, including: Operational Excellence, Technical Services, Technical Consulting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, planning, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and execution
- Support quality assurance and compliance efforts, including audits, inspections, and root cause analysis
- Contribute to the development of standardized processes, templates, and best practices across technical documentation and operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10 years of aviation maintenance experience in a commercial, MRO, or OEM environment
- Demonstrated progression into roles such as: Technical Publications, Maintenance Planning / Production Control, Quality Assurance / Quality Control
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance programs, and regulatory requirements
- Research and experience working within FAA Part 121, 135, or 145 environments
- Proven ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface across all levels of the organization
- Experience with M&E systems (e.g., TRAX, AMOS, Ramco, etc.) preferred
