About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Inform, educate, and make recommendations to clients, carrier representatives, and underwriters;
- Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads as appropriate and in accordance with standard practices, policies, and procedures
- Determine acceptability and placement of coverage and collect premium payments when applicable
- Resolve billing issues and service requests while maintaining concern for timeliness and completeness of information
- Monitor status of change requests, review policy documents for accuracy and follows up to delivery of change documents to clients
- Oversee the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts
- Supporting clients with standard and complex inquiries regarding coverages, products, and services the company offers.
- Responsible for documenting and answering client calls, emails and mail transactions.
- Collaborates and responds formally to client correspondence, either verbally or in writing, utilizing all reference material necessary to provide an informed response.
- Communicates with clients to obtain additional information to complete transactions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active 2-20 insurance license
- 2-3 years of experience with high-net-worth clientele and key relationships with luxury carriers, such as AIG, Chubb, PURE, Vault, Cincinnati and Berkley One.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (plus, but not required)
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) (plus, but not required)
- Epic system experience (plus, but not required)
- Industry Designations (plus, but not required)
