About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Inform, educate, and make recommendations to clients, carrier representatives, and underwriters;
  • Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads as appropriate and in accordance with standard practices, policies, and procedures
  • Determine acceptability and placement of coverage and collect premium payments when applicable
  • Resolve billing issues and service requests while maintaining concern for timeliness and completeness of information
  • Monitor status of change requests, review policy documents for accuracy and follows up to delivery of change documents to clients
  • Oversee the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts
  • Supporting clients with standard and complex inquiries regarding coverages, products, and services the company offers.
  • Responsible for documenting and answering client calls, emails and mail transactions.
  • Collaborates and responds formally to client correspondence, either verbally or in writing, utilizing all reference material necessary to provide an informed response.
  • Communicates with clients to obtain additional information to complete transactions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active 2-20 insurance license
  • 2-3 years of experience with high-net-worth clientele and key relationships with luxury carriers, such as AIG, Chubb, PURE, Vault, Cincinnati and Berkley One.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (plus, but not required)
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) (plus, but not required)
  • Epic system experience (plus, but not required)
  • Industry Designations (plus, but not required)
