About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic advisory and business-partnering support in regulatory litigation
Manage investigations and enforcement actions and advise on regulatory risks
Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, and dispute resolution
Conduct investigations and develop strategies to resolve disputes
Develop and present training on key topics relevant to the business
Manage external service providers including external legal firms and experts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree and admission to practice as a solicitor and current practising certificate
Minimum of 8 years post-admission experience
Experience advising clients in a regulated industry or working with regulators, preferably in financial services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple cases or projects simultaneously.
