Key responsibilities & impact

Account management by driving client satisfaction and revenue growth across an assigned portfolio
Manage requests for inforce clients up to 1,500 lives
Support additional accounts exceeding 1,500 lives
Design, implement and manage voluntary benefit solutions
Collaborate closely with regional Health & Benefits colleagues
Develop and execute value-based expansion, penetration and retention strategies
Maintain a strong professional network and represent Mercer’s brand in the market

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree required
Voluntary Benefits subject matter experience required
Strong voluntary benefits product, process and market knowledge
5+ years’ experience as a Voluntary Benefits Consultant
10+ years delivering Voluntary Benefits solutions to large and complex employers
Prior people or team management experience desired
Strong financial and business acumen
Current Life/Health License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
