About the role

  • Managing and servicing a portfolio of key accounts including the design and placement of large complex insurance programs.
  • Providing superior service to clients.
  • Meet and exceed service standards agreed while taking a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients.
  • Work with your Account Manager to ensure client needs are identified.
  • Maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims personnel.
  • Lead, plan and implement clear and effective renewal and broking strategies.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years insurance broking experience at a similar level or academic qualification will be an advantage.
  • Hands-on individual who can work well under pressure and prepared to work long hours to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office suite
  • Willingness to work towards qualifications aligned with new competency requirements for financial advisors
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Driver's License
