About the role
- Partner closely with the Private Markets and Hedge Fund Investment teams on data management and strategy
- Develop knowledge of Investment Team workflows and critical data needs
- Support the development and execution of investment data strategies
- Contribute to the execution of the alternatives data roadmap
- Drive operational transformation and efficiency by identifying opportunities to streamline data processes
- Apply strong data governance and quality principles
- Perform root-cause analysis on complex data issues
- Partner with technology teams during design and implementation
- Support and enable alternatives analytics use cases
- Manage day-to-day interactions with external data vendors and platform providers
- Foster strong partnerships and collaboration with business, data, and technology partners
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Asset Management
- Strong understanding of alternatives investment data across the investment lifecycle
- Hands-on experience working within complex investment data ecosystems
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into fit-for-purpose data solutions
- Experience performing root-cause analysis of data quality and operational issues
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure in a fast-paced alternatives environment
- Enthusiasm for solving problems through data and technology
