About the role
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert in insurance contract review and risk transfer analysis across diverse industries.
- Perform detailed review of indemnification, additional insured, waiver of subrogation, primary and non-contributory, limitation of liability, and other key risk allocation provisions.
- Analyze insurance requirements within commercial agreements and assess alignment with clients’ general liability and other insurance programs.
- Provide strategic recommendations to risk management clients to strengthen contractual protections and minimize uninsured exposure.
- Interpret complex general liability and umbrella/excess policy language to evaluate contractual risk implications.
- Partner with internal consultants, producers, and client service teams to support large and complex client engagements.
- Develop and maintain coverage comparison charts, contract review summaries, and client-facing technical deliverables.
Requirements
- Strong general liability coverage expertise (required)
- 7–12+ years of experience in insurance contract review, coverage analysis, risk management, insurance brokerage, consulting, or law.
- Extensive experience reviewing indemnity and insurance provisions in commercial contracts.
- Experience working directly with corporate risk management clients.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
