About the role

  • Advising national and international companies on all aspects of occupational pension schemes
  • Performing actuarial calculations related to company pension and other employee liabilities under German tax and commercial law as well as international accounting standards
  • Handling questions related to tax and employment law in the field of occupational pensions, including providing support and advice to clients
  • Preparing projection calculations and other analyses
  • Participating in (client) projects as needed (e.g., restructurings, provider changes, M&A)

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in (business) mathematics (Bachelor, Master or Diploma)
  • Professional experience in actuarial valuation of occupational pensions and other employee liabilities under German Income Tax Act (EStG), Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS is desirable
  • Completed or ongoing actuarial qualification (DAV, IVS) is desirable
  • Excellent skills in Excel and good knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
  • Very good German (C1) and English (C1) language skills, both written and spoken
