About the role
- Part of Mercer’s Investment Consulting team
- Provide support to pension schemes, corporations, insurers, and family offices
- Collaborate with global investment research and local colleagues
- Conduct Asset Liability Management (ALM) analyses
- Portfolio construction using mathematical optimization techniques
- Stochastic modeling of capital market risks
- Further development of the existing tool landscape
- Asset manager performance evaluation
- Research on topics and asset managers
Requirements
- Degree in finance, financial mathematics, mathematical economics/physics, or a comparable discipline
- Initial professional experience in the investment process of institutional investors, including ALM, mandate implementation, and risk management
- Programming experience, e.g. Matlab, Python, R, or VBA
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements such as investment regulations and BaFin circulars
- Excellent German (C1) and English (C1) language skills, both written and spoken
