About the role
- Support national and international companies on all matters related to occupational pension provision
- Perform actuarial calculations related to company pension and other employee benefit obligations under German tax and commercial law as well as international accounting standards (e.g., EStG, HGB, IFRS)
- Handle questions in the areas of tax and employment law related to occupational pensions, including client support and advising
- Prepare projection calculations and other analyses
- Participate, as needed, in (client) projects (e.g., reorganizations, changes of implementation vehicle, M&A)
Requirements
- Degree in (Business) Mathematics (Bachelor, Master, or Diplom)
- Initial professional experience in actuarial valuation of occupational pensions and other employee benefit obligations under the German Income Tax Act (EStG), German Commercial Code (HGB), and IFRS is desirable
- Completed or ongoing actuarial qualification (DAV, IVS) desirable
- Very strong Excel skills and good knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
- Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
