About the role

  • Support national and international companies on all matters related to occupational pension provision
  • Perform actuarial calculations related to company pension and other employee benefit obligations under German tax and commercial law as well as international accounting standards (e.g., EStG, HGB, IFRS)
  • Handle questions in the areas of tax and employment law related to occupational pensions, including client support and advising
  • Prepare projection calculations and other analyses
  • Participate, as needed, in (client) projects (e.g., reorganizations, changes of implementation vehicle, M&A)

Requirements

  • Degree in (Business) Mathematics (Bachelor, Master, or Diplom)
  • Initial professional experience in actuarial valuation of occupational pensions and other employee benefit obligations under the German Income Tax Act (EStG), German Commercial Code (HGB), and IFRS is desirable
  • Completed or ongoing actuarial qualification (DAV, IVS) desirable
  • Very strong Excel skills and good knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
  • Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
