About the role
- Support Producers, Marketing Account Executives, Marketing Specialists, Client Account Executives, and other team members in the preparation for and execution of marketing and placement of insurance coverages with carriers on both new and renewal business
- Quoting/rating various programs for multiple insurance carriers
- Comparing coverages, terms, and conditions of quotes
- Creating and transmitting submissions to carriers
- Preparing proposals
- Processing binder requests
- Building and growing relationships with clients, carrier representatives, and teammates
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Relevant insurance industry education, training, or experience
- Strong desire to learn and achieve insurance licensing as well as designations such as Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), INS, Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), (Certified Risk Manager) CRM, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with markets
- Property and Casualty insurance license (a plus)
- College degree or equivalent education and/or experience (a plus)
- Insurance industry certifications in addition to necessary license (a plus)
- Significant prior insurance industry experience and knowledge of carriers and markets (a plus)
