About the role
- Lead and coordinate Private Market Investment Implementation activities of the Mercer Funds
- Take ownership of the private markets implementation pipeline
- Project manage and monitor all aspects of the end-to-end private market transaction lifecycle
- Manage private market portfolio liquidity and currency hedging requirements
- Lead the private market investment data collection and validation
- Represent investment implementation in the private market governance forums
Requirements
- Degree in an appropriate analytical discipline such as finance, economics, or mathematics
- Postgraduate qualification (CFA, CIMA, or a relevant Master’s) is desirable but not necessary
- 5-7 years of investment industry experience
- Strong emphasis on derivatives and derivative overlay strategies
- Experience in portfolio construction for multi-manager portfolios
- Solid understanding of various portfolio construction approaches including passive, active, factor, core, and high conviction
- Strong knowledge of investment markets and asset classes
