About the role
- Drive the quality assurance efforts within our application development team
- Ensure testing processes are effectively implemented and adhered to throughout the software development lifecycle
- Develop and execute test plans, manage testing activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Foster a culture of quality and ensure best practices are followed
- Prepare detailed reports on testing progress, quality metrics, and potential risks
Requirements
- Demonstrate proficiency in manual testing methodologies
- Developing and implementing strategies that ensure high-quality software delivery
- Execute against a comprehensive quality assurance strategy
- Oversee the creation and execution of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Collaborate closely with development and product management
- Execute and maintain processes for defect tracking, management, and resolution
- Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate testing tools and technologies
- Document QA processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Analyze testing processes and methodologies
- Proactively identify potential quality risks early in the development process
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders regarding quality initiatives
