About the role
- Collaborate with technology, product, marketing, editorial, and business teams
- Advocate for the end user through human-centered design methods
- Lead strategic planning, exploration, design, and build of projects
- Build and develop a high-performing design team
- Ensure UI/UX efforts align with product roadmaps and timelines
- Develop and maintain a cohesive design system that ensures consistency
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design
- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design skills and styles
- Proven success creating world-class digital experiences
- Excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience managing external agencies and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and/or Figma
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with user testing tools (UserTesting, Hotjar, Google Analytics)
- Ability to interpret user research and data to inform design decisions
- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field preferred
