About the role
- Deliver alpha through manager selection and portfolio construction for Mercer’s Fixed Interest and Cash funds
- Partner with global teams to contribute to Mercer’s best-ideas global model portfolios
- Support the development and launch of new funds aligned with client needs and commercial outcomes
- Work closely with consultants and clients to understand their requirements and communicate fund strategy and performance
- Mentor and develop key investment talent within the team
- Represent Mercer at client meetings and industry events
Requirements
- Relevant undergraduate qualification required; post-graduate qualification or professional certification preferred
- At least 8 years of relevant industry experience in portfolio management and/or manager research covering fixed interest strategies
- Experience presenting to and working with clients
- Strong technical knowledge of fixed interest markets, asset classes, investment styles, and strategies
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables effectively
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
