About the role
- Oversee the timely identification, investigation, and rectification of operational incidents in line with Marsh McLennan’s incident management policy, ensuring effective risk mitigation.
- Manage the end-to-end incident workflow, including escalation, remediation planning, and reporting to regulators and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify control gaps and implement corrective actions to strengthen operational controls.
- Support risk assessments for projects impacting Administration Operations, providing actionable recommendations to enhance risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the incident management team to drive continuous improvement and best practices in incident rectification.
Requirements
- Proven experience in risk management, incident management, or operational risk roles, preferably within financial services or a large corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of incident management frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance (including Superannuation industry regulations such as the Corporations Act and SIS Act).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage complex remediation projects and lead high-performing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or professional certifications in risk management or related fields are highly regarded.
