About the role
- Work collaboratively to lead consulting engagements with mid-market employers regarding medical, dental, life and disability benefit plans
- Negotiate with benefits carriers and vendors to secure health and welfare plan coverage
- Develop client strategies and interface directly with clients
- Manage overall service delivery and financial evaluations
- Lead developing cost projections and evaluation of vendor renewal workups
- Perform data analysis and review claims and utilization data
- Review internal compliance and external vendor contracts
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 7+ years’ experience in identifying, designing, recommending and implementing efficient, innovative business solutions to clients' complex health care benefits challenges
- Renowned expertise and industry reputation in the health & benefits field
