About the role

  • Receive phone calls and office visitors requesting changes to existing coverage and/or new policies
  • Determine acceptability and placement make recommendations, complete applications or endorsement requests and collect premium when applicable
  • Review existing accounts to determine if an additional line of insurance or coverage of insurance should be recommended
  • Maintain and develop underwriting knowledge as well as procedures for all carriers using internet sites
  • Assist in meeting monthly pre-established goals
  • Handle all clients with a high level of customer service to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and professionalism at every service contact
  • Inform, educate, and make recommendations to clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions and insurance coverage needs
  • Perform other duties as requested, including exercising discretion and judgment prioritizing workload

Requirements

  • Property and Casualty License must be obtained within 75 days of the first day of New Hire Onboarding
  • Basic knowledge of personal lines insurance coverage
  • The employee is responsible for adherence to the stated expectations of the E&O Plus Quality Management Program
