Advise and support clients on the introduction, modification and redesign of occupational pension schemes (bAV) and related benefits as part of an interdisciplinary team
Manage the occupational pension arrangements of individual clients, including on-site at client locations in an interim-management capacity (external bAV expert and administrator)
Manage an assigned client portfolio from both a technical and commercial perspective
Project management and independent execution of client assignments
Maintain relationships with existing clients and expand business relationships, including with regard to other areas of Mercer
Contribute to internal projects to further develop Mercer’s advisory and solution portfolio
Requirements
University degree or consulting experience in the field of occupational pensions (bAV) within a consulting firm, the HR or finance department of a company, or at a life insurance provider
Initial experience in labor and social security law related to occupational pensions
Knowledge of life insurance and basic understanding of German commercial and tax law as well as international accounting standards (advantageous)
Proven success in developing or implementing pension/benefit solutions for clients is a plus
Entrepreneurial mindset, team spirit, initiative, and a customer-oriented approach both technically and commercially
Willingness to travel and to work on-site at client locations
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Excellent German (C1) and English (C1) verbal and written skills
Knowledge of relevant sales methods
