About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collect and analyze healthcare claims and utilization data, including cost projections and evaluations
  • Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process on behalf of clients
  • Assist senior consultants in reviewing client needs, identifying suitable approaches, and supporting implementation strategies
  • Model employee benefit contributions to help meet employer objectives
  • Prepare client deliverables and communications, including reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Support the National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Health Plans to create employer health and benefits benchmarks
  • Work alongside U.S. Health & Benefits consultants serving clients
  • Participate in a hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, economics, health administration, health policy, or a related major
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university with an expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
  • Preferred minimum GPA: 3.0/4.0
  • Permanent, ongoing U.S. work authorization without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to work Monday, June 7th through Friday, August 13th in Summer 2027, with no alternate dates
  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of data analysis, project management, and presentation design
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to develop new skills
  • Superior organizational skills and strong attention to detail
