About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage intake and monitoring of client contract requests for Mercer Legal
- Monitor the intake mailbox for new Client Contract Requests and initially review agreements submitted via the CRM tool
- Schedule and facilitate internal stakeholder calls regarding approach, assignments, timelines and contract strategies
- Provide guidance and redlined responses on certain agreements based on SME input and resources
- Track open Client Contract Requests and provide summary updates
- Follow up on request status to help reduce contract execution time and accelerate revenue realization
- Become an expert user of the CRM platform and related tools
- Support CRM adoption and change management efforts
- Develop process improvements to improve team effectiveness
- Learn Mercer businesses and the key legal issues they face
- Collaborate with lawyers, legal professionals and internal stakeholders across Mercer’s US and Canada businesses
Requirements
What you’ll need- Paralegal, attorney or relevant contract management experience
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years in a corporate office or professional services firm, preferably in contract review
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly build credibility and gain confidence at all levels in the organization
- Strong attention to detail and solid follow through
- Ability to set and deliver on priorities and multiple open projects in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of legal and contract terminology
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 software programs
