About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and own product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for assigned IT platforms
Translate business needs and technical constraints into product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs
Lead product planning and prioritization using data, stakeholder input, and business value
Partner with engineering, architecture, security, operations, vendor partners, and business SMEs to deliver releases on time and on budget
Act as product owner in Agile delivery teams, clarifying scope, accepting deliverables, managing sprint priorities, and removing blockers
Drive product adoption and change management through stakeholder engagement, communications, training plans, and measurement
Define and monitor product success metrics and report product performance to leadership
Manage vendor relationships and third-party product lifecycles, including requirements, RFPs, contract alignment, and performance reviews
Ensure product designs meet security, compliance, privacy, and accessibility standards
Contribute to risk mitigation activities
Mentor and coach junior product managers
Contribute to product management best practices and governance across IT

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of product management experience in IT or technology environments
Demonstrated ownership of enterprise IT products or platforms
Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder IT initiatives from discovery through production
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and modern cloud-native architectures
Experience working with engineering, architecture, and security teams and translating technical concepts for business stakeholders
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
Data-driven decision-making skills; experience defining and tracking KPIs and using analytics to inform prioritization
Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred
Experience with identity/access management, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), integration platforms, ITSM, or enterprise data platforms preferred
Familiarity with SOC2, ISO27001, and GDPR preferred
Prior experience in a regulated industry or large global organization preferred
Technical literacy for architectural and engineering discussions
Negotiation and vendor management skills
Ability to influence without direct authority and build consensus
Problem-solving orientation and comfort with ambiguity
Empathy for end users and focus on measurable value
