About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-domain programs and large projects across Product/Domain and Engineering teams
Ensure governance, workstream structure, cross-squad dependencies, schedule, and budget execution are aligned and successfully delivered
Serve as the senior delivery decision-maker and escalation point for assigned programs
Manage and develop Delivery Managers and Delivery Analysts through direct people management and lead cross-functionally through matrix leadership
Set delivery direction across squads using Agile, Scrum, and Lean practices
Balance strategic delivery governance and stakeholder accountability with hands-on tactical execution, dependency management, and release readiness
Develop and manage integrated program roadmaps, workstream plans, and delivery governance
Structure and integrate workstreams; delegate delivery management activities and manage dependencies, critical paths, and commitments
Own program-level risk, issue, decision, and action tracking (RAID); drive mitigation and escalation
Lead release and cutover planning and execution, including operational readiness, runbook inputs, and go/no-go criteria
Partner with Product/Domain leads to align plans with priorities and outcomes and provide executive-ready reporting on scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Lead stakeholder forums and guide delivery decisions by framing options, trade-offs, and recommendations
Influence product, engineering, operations, and vendors to adopt delivery practices and resolve blockers
Coordinate vendor deliverables and SOW milestones and address performance risks
Drive continuous improvement using delivery standards, templates, and tooling

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of program or project delivery experience, including leading large, complex programs with multi-team dependencies and delegating/coaching across delivery teams
Demonstrated people leadership experience, including direct management and development of Delivery Managers and/or Delivery Analysts and matrix leadership across delivery teams
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-domain programs with cross-functional teams and multiple workstreams
Strong program management competencies: program structuring, workstream integration, schedule and dependency management, risk and issue resolution
Demonstrated experience with budget planning, financial forecasting, and cost control across large initiatives
Expert-level vendor and contract management experience, including SOW development and performance management
Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills; ability to translate complex program information into clear business language
Proficiency with program management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Planview, or equivalent)
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Experience establishing governance frameworks, KPI tracking, and progress reporting cadence
PMP, PMI-PgMP, or equivalent project management certification is a plus, but not required
Six Sigma or Lean certification is a plus, but not required
Experience in insurance brokerage, financial services, or professional services is a plus, but not required
Familiarity with agile delivery methods and IT governance frameworks is a plus, but not required
Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, is a plus, but not required
Change management and organizational adoption experience is a plus, but not required
