About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide day-to-day leadership of client projects to Associates and Consultants
- Manage aspects of client relationships and commercial processes, teaming with Partners on engagement success
- Lead complex programs to ensure on-time delivery against agreed goals
- Guide and influence clients, becoming trusted advisors
- Identify new and expanded business opportunities
- Create intellectual capital through thought leadership
- Develop others and build followership within the firm
- Lead firm-building activities and model firm values
- Oversee consulting teams developing hypotheses, reviewing information, conducting interviews, deriving insights, and producing deliverables
- Support Partners with project execution, work planning, workflow management, and coaching junior team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-7 years of experience in Supply & Trading Strategy & transformation
- Experience serving Oil & Gas and/or Power clients, including Integrated Majors, Independent Traders, and Hedge Funds
- Conceptual understanding of Trading Operating Models and Commercial Optimization
- Strong conceptual problem-solving and analytical skills
- Track record of leading and managing teams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast-paced and demanding environments
- Outstanding communication skills and confidence presenting to senior executives
- Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
- Ideally located in Houston
- Willingness to travel
