About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans and operational enhancements
- Execute special projects aligned to the Practice’s strategic priorities
- Work with the PT Americas Leadership Team to ensure goals, objectives, and deadlines are met, including capability team leadership
- Develop and drive agendas for key practice and leadership team meetings
- Draft Practice-related internal communications and management presentations
- Develop business cases for investments
- Lead planning, budgeting, and execution of large-scale team events and activities
- Coordinate with other geographies on global projects and strategic priorities
- Develop, maintain, improve, and monitor MIS with Finance and Practice Leadership
- Lead analysis for annual budgeting and capacity planning
- Manage and track hard-dollar and soft-dollar investments
- Serve as point person for client-facing teams seeking project investments, including developing investment theses and terms
- Set experienced-hire recruiting goals, interview senior candidates, and produce recruiting analysis
- Oversee integration efforts for new joiners, particularly Partners and Principals
- Produce analyses and points of view related to employee retention and attrition
- Manage and support ad hoc human-capital projects
- Coordinate the Partner annual performance review and objective-setting processes
- Produce analysis and implement routines for commercial effectiveness efforts
- Support client and client-team requests and RFPs with Legal, Finance, and IT
- Support marketing efforts, including shaping the editorial calendar and coordinating event logistics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of experience in professional services, ideally in an internal or management consulting role
- Strong written and verbal storytelling and communication skills
- Excellent PowerPoint skills
- Ability to craft compelling business presentations for executive audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of generative AI and work-optimization tools
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
- Ability to influence and interact with colleagues at all levels, including executive audiences
- Ability to identify business opportunities and issues from varying perspectives
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently and meet tight business deadlines
- Experience dealing with confidential and business-critical issues
- Willingness to respond to ad-hoc requests and projects
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity or acting with limited direction or oversight
