About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Professional Services Veterinarians to achieve individual and team goals
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct field ride-alongs and coaching sessions
  • Manage team performance, provide feedback, and create development plans
  • Partner with sales leadership on strategies driving diagnostic revenue and customer loyalty
  • Oversee resource allocation and exceptional support for sales teams and customers
  • Manage relationships with key veterinary hospital and corporate accounts
  • Provide medical and technical consultation on diagnostic tests and services
  • Deliver educational presentations and training virtually and in person
  • Advise veterinary partners on interpreting results and integrating diagnostic technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the veterinary industry
  • Strong preference for experience in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or a related commercial field
  • 2+ years of demonstrated leadership or management experience
  • Passion for mentoring and developing others
  • Clinical practice experience highly preferred
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate complex scientific information into practical insights for veterinary professionals
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and cross-functional partners
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently
  • Ability to use computers, spreadsheets, database management, email, video conferencing, and the Internet
  • Occasional ability to lift or move up to 15 pounds
