About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Sell and maintain distribution of assigned Mars Petcare products
- Present display programs to customers and suggest orders
- Present and sell booking sheets to stores
- Ensure products are stocked and properly displayed with store price tags
- Replenish display fixtures, including Mars Petcare racks
- Secure secondary retail space for displays
- Apply POS and other marketing materials where applicable
- Rotate products on shelves and in backrooms to maintain quality and freshness
- Maintain customer, survey, and tracking data in field sales data collection software
- Manage the assigned territory through efficient customer coverage and resource use
- Plan and organize route schedules according to the company call coverage model
- Keep the ASM updated on territory activity
- Maintain sufficient merchandising supplies and POS materials
- Follow company procedures for processing credits and cheques
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to drive approximately 100 km daily while making sales calls
- Ability to sustain repeated movement, including entering and exiting a vehicle, bending, leaning, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping
- Ability to secure vehicle insurance coverage as determined by Mars Canada Inc.
- Valid Canadian driver’s license
- Sales experience would be an asset
