About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and facilitate multi-platform nutrition training programs for internal associates and external veterinary partners
- Create RACE-accredited continuing education content tailored for and delivered by veterinary technicians
- Develop and implement metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and ROI
- Execute a veterinary technician outreach program and foster a community of nutrition champions
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, key opinion leaders, and strategic accounts on nutrition education programs
- Manage content and host Tech Talks on the Royal Canin Live platform
- Develop and integrate nutrition programs within university curricula for veterinary technicians
- Represent Royal Canin and veterinary technicians in key industry organizations
- Represent the Scientific Communications team at major industry conferences
- Maintain advanced scientific proficiency in companion animal nutrition as a subject matter expert
- Maintain, curate, and monitor the Royal Canin Academy platform
- Manage operational workflows, including KOL honorariums and purchase orders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must hold a current credential as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT), or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of cat and dog nutrition and commitment to continuous learning
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver engaging professional presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Prior B2B sales experience in the veterinary industry or animal health sector preferred
- Ability to master Learning Management Systems and e-learning design software, such as Cornerstone and Articulate
- Ability to function as a team player in an open office environment
- Ability to set goals and work in the field without direct supervision
- Ability to travel up to 50%
