About the role
- Lead Continued Enhancement of the Global Financial Controls Framework
- Provide global financial control and business process expertise
- Identify and lead opportunities to improve the framework
- Lead the integration and onboarding of new acquisitions
- Support in defining and overseeing ongoing requirements for the global controls self-testing program
- Maintain and enhance global dashboards and KPI reporting
- Deliver crisp, concise reporting on control compliance to stakeholders
- Analyze trends in control deployment to support standardization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, or equivalent) required
- Professional Certification such as CPA, CIA or PMP preferred
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, finance or risk & control roles
- Detailed business process understanding, accounting knowledge, and strong proficiency of ICFR
- Experience applying COSO and SOX in an efficient and effective manner
- Ability to operate autonomously and take ownership to drive positive change
- Highly detail oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing and maintaining dashboards (preferably in Power BI)
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience with Big 4 public accounting, consulting and/or internal audit
- Experience with CPG, manufacturing, and/or service-based industries
