Chemistry Analyst
MarsChemistry Analyst focusing on chemical analyses in support of scientific research at Mars. Delivering accurate testing results while maintaining laboratory instrumentation and documentation.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver true, accurate results in a timely manner for analytical testing.
- Carrying out routine analysis accurately while following documented methods.
- Monitors regional laboratory needs on regular basis.
- Operate, manage & maintain laboratory instrumentation
- Maintains documentation of analytical results in ELN (Electronic Notebook) and/or the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Write/create documents for, and always follow laboratory quality management systems ISO 17025 and Mars Global Laboratory Quality Management System.
- Use technical knowledge and expertise in the application of specialized analytical instrumentation to support Nutritional testing for pre-mix, pre-blends, mixer studies, raw ingredients, developmental products, and finished product analysis.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or natural or food sciences/pharmaceutical with emphasis in Analytical chemistry
- 2 + years' of experience with chemical and physical analyses in food or related industries (advanced education may partially substitute for required experience).
