About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ability to translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and market data into new business opportunities (within the market and underdeveloped clinics).
- Knows how to prioritize time based on opportunity and level of clinic influence in market
- A self-starter who can translate customer pain points into experimenting with creative, new ideas to bring value to the clinics
- Understands clinic operational needs to provide strategic advice and help clinics build their online presence by working closely with them in a consultative role.
- Develop and maintain a high technical competency for eCommerce-related tools and various platforms that generate diverse revenue for clinics.
- Establish and grow relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within urban centers
- Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address the unique needs of the Veterinary staff.
- Develops strong working relationship with key stakeholder groups across the BU & organization.
- Balances the needs and interests of multiple internal and external stakeholders (market influencers, transversal, Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs).
- Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- Effectively execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy within urban center.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team-based environment.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and routinely adjust the strategies, tactics, and investments based on changing needs to maximize territory performance.
- Budget and reporting: Manage an expense and sales budget. Complete CRM call reports, expense reports and presentations in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B Veterinary clinic experience preferred
- Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
- Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30% travel
