About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Accountable for execution of the Vet Business Unit strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI’s by identifying new opportunities and Vet influencers within a defined geography.
  • Utilize market data and drive a sustained Vet ecosystem by leveraging innovation and digital solutions.
  • Develop new business in under penetrated urban centers and clinics to grow relevance, access to clinics and Vet recommendation.
  • Make daily calls in the field to customers in your assigned territory.
  • Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and market data into new business opportunities.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within urban centers.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and routinely adjust strategies, tactics, and investments based on changing needs to maximize territory performance.
  • Manage an expense and sales budget. Complete CRM call reports, expense reports and presentations in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B Veterinary clinic experience preferred
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30% travel.
