About the role
- You will interact directly with co-manufacturers and packaging suppliers to ensure the implementation of packaging solutions that meet specifications and align with Royal Canin’s recyclability expectations.
- You will be responsible for packaging development projects (primary, secondary and potential accessories such as caps) from the marketing brief through implementation at co-man facilities, ensuring adherence to Critical Success Factors, Packaging Risk Analyses (PRAs), qualification protocols and production KPIs.
- You will deliver these innovative projects on time and in full.
- You will operate with a high level of autonomy as the dedicated lead responsible for delivering and coordinating the technical packaging execution for Functional Complements (FC) products, covering a wide variety of packaging types.
- You will ensure full compliance with qualification protocols and maintain complete traceability of all testing performed to demonstrate conformance to specifications.
- You will deliver excellence in the execution of qualification protocols, in compliance with the Packaging Quality Management standard.
- You will contribute to continuous improvement by leveraging your operational experience.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in packaging materials and technology.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the industry (FMCG preferred), including at least 2 years’ experience in packaging development in a similar sector.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
