Drive engagement and lead the Regulatory Affairs function for Eurasia Cluster
Ensure compliance in cluster markets for product-related regulation (ingredients, labelling, claims, product registration, packaging, cross-border sanitary conditions)
Maximize opportunity and minimize risk by guiding business decisions at cluster level based on regulatory insight and governance
Manage horizon scanning for markets, capturing risks & opportunities to inform stakeholders and influence regulators
Develop stakeholder mapping and engagement plans with trade associations and regulators
Provide technical/product/nutritional presentations to internal and external stakeholders
Prepare and submit product registration files and manage follow-up with authorities; ensure licenses and permits for imports and site approvals
Act as point of contact for regulatory or quality related PRIMPS and support regulatory advocacy and issue management
Collaborate with Eurasia RA team and report to Eurasia, India, South Africa RA Sr Team Manager
Requirements
M.S. or equivalent in a technical area, such as veterinary medicine, food science, food safety, chemistry, toxicology, nutrition, other biological science
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Public Policy, or Trade Association related field for multiple markets
Solid knowledge of the small animal health industry &/ nutrition and science
Experience of communicating with, and influencing trade, and professional organizations
Excellent understanding and working knowledge of nutrition and, ideally, pet food/feed law and/or pharmaceuticals and regulatory frameworks
Excellent communication skills, fluent in both spoken and written English and Ukraine is mandatory
Veterinary/Scientific knowledge important
Experience of communicating with consultants / contractors
Microsoft Office proficiency required
Ability to connect with diverse culture and adapt to changes
Excellent project management / organizational skills combined with the ability to handle many tasks simultaneously and deliver within tight deadlines
Ability to manage regulatory monitoring and horizon scanning for the cluster
Ability to assess and manage risks and opportunities and inform the business on time
