About the role

  • Overall accountability for execution of the Vet Business Unit (BU) strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI’s by delivering account specific sales goals.
  • Identify clinic opportunities and leverage sales data.
  • Work cross functionally to grow relevance, access to clinics and Vet recommendation within assigned geography.
  • Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
  • Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
  • Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address the unique needs of the Veterinary staff.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and routinely adjust the strategies, tactics, and investments based on changing needs to maximize territory performance.
  • Manage an expense and sales budget. Complete CRM call reports, expense reports and presentations in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B Veterinary clinic experience preferred
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel
