About the role
- Project Manage large and complex projects or Program Manage major/critical business initiatives.
- Responsible for all aspects of planning and executing projects/programs from ideation to project closure.
- Own overall leadership of major capital projects through the Mars Engineering Execution Standard for executional excellence in project delivery.
- Ensure delivery of scope, time, budget, and cash flow for all projects.
- Drive decisions to improve business measurements.
- Develop standards for equipment, systems and engineering processes or assigned functional area and collaborate with other senior engineers and global technical teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in engineering; an advanced degree in engineering, MBA or PMP certification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a comparable technical position within food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry
- In-Depth understanding and success with project management principals.
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering disciplines: Building, Infrastructure, Civil, Utilities, Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction or Computer Services
- In-depth understanding of functional engineering area of expertise
- Proven track record in developing and executing projects; leading direct reports or project teams and success as strong consensus builder
- Strong Innovation Management
- Ability to travel 20-60% (depending on location)
