About the role
- Direct collaboration with the helpdesk and technical teams to resolve support tickets
- Monitoring, maintenance and further development of software systems
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Working with interdisciplinary teams to provide technical support
- Participation in rotating on-call shifts for technical support
- Documentation of system configurations and processes
- Assisting with the implementation of security measures
- Coordination with customers and third-level support for troubleshooting
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Demonstrable experience in technical support and system analysis
- Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Knowledge of laboratory systems and protocols (HL7, ASTM) is a plus
- Experience with network configuration and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong analytical skills for diagnostics and problem solving
- Very good command of German and English; French is an advantage
- Independent, structured working style with strong organizational skills
